Andre Fuetsch
Andre is Executive Vice President and ChiefTechnology Officer at AT&T Services. He oversees the globalmobile and fixed networktechnology direction for AT&T,which includes the design of the company’s 5G infrastructure, AT&T’s software-defined networking (SDN) initiative, protecting and monetizing AT&T’s intellectual property portfolio, and network software automation platforms.
His responsibilities include network architecture, standards, planning, development, testing and certification of infrastructure and device technologies.
Since joining AT&T in 1995, Andre has led various organizations including Product Development, AT&T Labs, IT, Engineering, Operations and Strategy.
He is currently a board member of the Linux Foundation, Magic Leap, Open Networking Foundation and founded and chairs the Open Radio Access Network Alliance.
Andre also chairs ATIS and the ATIS Next G Alliance.Andre earned his bachelor’sdegree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at U.C. Berkeley and completed his graduate coursework in Computer Science at Stanford University. He holds seven patents in the fields of network traffic optimization and distributed systems.
