Sidd Chenumolu
As Vice President of Technology Development, Sidd Chenumolu leads DISH’s wireless technology and architecture team and supervises the design and architecture of the company’s end-to-end 5G network. In his current role, he advises executives on wireless strategy, spectrum, cloud, regulatory and technology, and works to advance the company’s goal to pioneer the first cloud native, intent based automated stand-alone 5G network in the United States.
Sidd manages the technology strategy at DISH embracing O-RAN centric future ready network. He is responsible for the architecture choices and design decisions related to 5G network and integration with partners. He is also leading the standards group that represent DISH at 3GPP, ORAN, GSMA, CBRS Alliance, ITU, TIP and others.
Sidd is responsible for evaluating, and selection of next generation hardware and software, driving innovation through disaggregation and abstraction. He is forward looking with deep interests in cognitive analytics and machine learning to improve customer experience
Prior to DISH, Sidd served in the Network and Technology Development teams at Sprint and Clearwire where he oversaw LTE design, product roadmaps and feature creation. As the leader of a top-performing engineering team, Sidd innovated specialized solutions for the company’s wireless business.
Sidd has a Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
